George Dang, president of Acacia Financial Advisors, has been an executive in the financial services business for over 25 years.
 
George was an executive vice president for the AXA-Equitable Group for 23 years where he made numerous achievements before retiring. Later in 2004 he formed the Acacia Financial Advisors with a team of financial professionals. AFA provides financial services in the areas of investment, insurance, and retirement.
 
George holds the FINRA-sponsored Principal licensees Series 24 and 53. He also holds a general security Series 7 and an Investment Advisor license Series 65 as well as Life and Health insurance licensees.
 
George is on the Maryland Governor’s Commission of Asian Pacific American Affairs, on the Advisory Board of the Maryland State Attorney General, and on the Comptroller’s Business Council. He is the co-founder and Board member of the Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce; is a member of the Montgomery College Foundation Board; and is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery.
 
George speaks Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese, and Vietnamese and has been recognized by the State for Maryland for his outstanding service to the business community.
